Detritus the TrollTerry Pratchett is a God. He is not God, to say so would be inaccurate and offensive to all the other Gods out there. But he is a God, and an awful lot of people believe in him. Therefore he is huge.

AnguaTerry Pratchett is the only author whose new releases I actively seek out (in paperback - I'm not made of money). Although this is not a hard thing to do as every time I walk into a bookstore there seems to be a new Discworld novel on the shelves.

At the last count there were an extraordinary 37 Discworld stories, listed here, and although they are all good, those that revolve around the witches are my favourites.

Rincewind and LuggageI also collect the Discworld figures made by Clarecraft. At the start they were a bit lifeless and static, but now the sculptors have become familiar with the characters, they're producing some startling pieces such as Death on a Motorcycle (pictured below) and the large scale Discworld (shown here). Unfortunately Clarecraft closed down in October 2005, which is a big shame, and cost me a fortune in completing my collection!
